Fashion Week Addition: Taylor Yates of T. Nicole
Auburn Fashion Week is off to an amazing start! Two fashion shows (The Blue Shoe and Ellie) have set the mood. This week is no less exciting. We are proud to introduce local designer Taylor Yates and her label T. Nicole to our crowd. Taylor will host a trunk show at Starzz Boutique on Tuesday March 6 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Taylor is a native of Alexander City, Ala. She is a 2009 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Apparel Design. Upon graduating, Taylor organized and launched a fashion show benefiting Camp ASCCA and featuring former Project Runway contestant Jonathan Kayne, who Taylor interned with in Oklahoma. The Live, Live! Fashion Show rasied $1,600 for Camp ASCCA Campers. Taylor was selected to be a featured show in Mobile Fashion Week in August 2011. She was one of Three Designers that were showcased and competed for the title of emerging designer. Though Taylor did not win the competition, her label T. Nicole was picked up by Private Gallery. Taylor’s line of college gameday dresses will be available in Private Gallery stores across the Southeast. Taylor resides in Auburn, Ala where she is the coach of the Auburn University Tiger Paws Dance Team.
